How to get to TRSACAddress of the Party PlacePaludan-Müllers Vej 1108200 Århus N Danmark MAP OF THE LOCATION! Check out the "Points of Interest" map here for locations of airports, ferry departure/arrival ports and more. Getting there by airplaneWe recommend the Momondo search engine for finding the cheapest possible flights! There are three relevant airports you can travel to:
Århus Airport is a rather small place, and you probably won't find that many connections, but if it's at all possible, we recommend this option, as it is very close to the party place, and there is a shuttle bus going straight to the train station in Århus. The bus fare is 90 DKK per person. Billund Airport has a lot more flight connections, and is fairly close to the party location. There is also a shuttle bus going to Århus, but it doesn't stop at the train station, but at "Musikhuset", which is a 10-minute walk from the station. The bus fare is approx. 150-200 DKK Copenhagen Airport Kastrup is located about 10 minutes outside Copenhagen. It is possible to get a train that starts at the airport and will take you all the way to Århus train station, but if you do miss this train and have to go into Copenhagen to find the appropriate train, don't worry, just get on the trains NOT going to Malmö, Sweden :o) Once you're at the Copenhagen Train Station, get on a train towards either Århus, Frederikshavn, Lindholm St. or Aalborg, and get off in Århus. No biggie :) The journey takes approx. three and a half hours. The train fare will set you back 325 DKK (plus an additional 25 DKK if you want a seat reservation. Since you will most likely be travelling on Friday and Sunday, we heartily recommend a reservation unless you enjoy standing up for long periods with lots of computer equipment on your back :o) Getting to the party place from Århus Train StationOnce you are at the train station you can get a taxi (roughly 100 DKK) or grab bus 7 (seven) towards "Charlottehøj" or bus 26 towards "Sandkås Busvej" (approx 20 DKK fare, you enter the bus in the back or in the middle :))Travelling here by ferry (from Norway and Sweden)You have several options to travel to Denmark by Ferry. The most common ones are:
Travelling by carÅrhus is right next to Highway E45, so it's easily accessible. There are (at least) two online route planners: Map-24.com and Krak if you have problems with Map-24.From the North (Norway/Frederikshavn/Hirtshals) Go south on the E45 (if driving from Hirtshals it's E39 until Aalborg) and turn off when you get to Århus. From the South (Germany) Theres only one Highway going from Germany into Denmark (A7/E45). Follow it north, and turn off when you get to Århus. From the East (Sweden) When you have arrived in Copenhagen, follow Highway E20 Jutland until you get to highway E45 - Then turn towards Århus/Aalborg, and get off the highway when you reach Århus further north.
